Q. Will my dog have to wear an ID Tag on a walk?

A. Your dog is legally required to wear a Collar and ID tag when in public, and microchipped. Your dog’s Identity tag must include your name and address including your postcode.

Q. What will happen in the event of extreme weather conditions and my dog cannot be walked? eg Heatwave, Severe storms.

A. Time On Our Hounds will notify you and provide a 30 minute Pop In to ensure your dog toilet / comfort breaks.

A £5 credit will be issued with a Pop In or if you wish to cancel a full refund will be given.

Q. Can my dog be walked if still in season?

A. Unfortunately you will have to notify Time On Our Hounds if your dog is in season and walks will not go ahead however would be very happy to provide toilet / comfort breaks.

Q. In the event of cancellation will I get a refund?

 A. Cancellations of services by clients less than 48 hours will not be entitled to a refund.

In the unfortunate events Time On Our Hounds could not provide services,  payment will be adjusted on the next invoice.
 

Q. Do you have a contract or service agreement?

A. There will be a service agreement which will need to be read and signed. 
 

Q. How is payment made?

A. An invoice will be sent weekly or monthly prior to services going ahead. Payment to be made on Fridays prior by bank transfers. Cashless payments are preferred as there is more traceability. 

***Payment not being made prior to services going ahead will result in the booking being cancelled as this is your confirmation for the week ahead.

Q. If I’ve booked for a one hour walk, Will my dog be out of the house for exactly one hour? 

A. Unless required, due to  travel, pick up & drop offs your dog(s) will be out of the house for longer. 

Q. What do I need to provide for my dog walk?

A. If you could leave out leads, collars, harnesses with ID Tags on and optional extras such as Haltis, towels, balls and Il provide poop bags.
